Iron & Design is a Memphis-born business that began in 2018 when two craftsmen met and discovered their shared passion for ironwork and designing beautiful, functional structures. Specializing in custom pieces from gates and fences to table bases and artwork, our artisans are masters of their trade.

We serve discerning residential homeowners and upscale designers and architects alike, bringing exceptional skill to both conception and execution. Our commitment to quality includes using top-notch powder coating finishes on all raw metals to ensure lasting durability.

Working with a variety of materials including mild steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and bronze—plus an array of faux finishes—the design possibilities are limitless.

 For many years, Matthew has been the proud owner of the local Memphis wood shop, City Wood. City Wood's mission is to create beautiful pieces of furniture from fallen trees that otherwise would end up in a landfill.
